I've been studying the various strands of Anglicanism lately, and I don't know what to make of the Anglo-Catholics. Their theology and practices seem Romish, but they say the RCC is a corrupted and idolatrous church. Are these Anglo-Catholics our brothers in Christ, or do we take the same stance Toward them as wo do toward the RCC?

From the way you describe it there seems to be a continuum of Anglo-Catholic thought. I'm more comfortable with Anglo-Catholics like Milbank and Pickstock than with those who are simply Tiber-wannabes.

Are they, especially the latter, our brothers in Christ? Turn the question around: would they affirm communion with us? I doubt it.
