The attached article is a brief historical-theological exploration of the four best arguments for Christ's impeccability. In addition, the objections to it as framed by Charles Hodge are briefly answered, and some attention is paid to the confessional and ecclesiological status of the doctrine. While agreeing with much that W.G.T. Shedd says in his own extensive discussion of the topic, this article does not simply retread his approach.
