Actually after they come forward and before they vote, they get immersed in the discussionthen everyone votes
I think you come forward at the end of the service, then everyone votes.
(Sorry, couldn't resist. I've never figured out the subforums either.)
You should be good to go now.I do apologize for posting a thread in which seems to have already been made, though the answers/ links in the previous one do not work. It's my understanding that one must receive an invite to join that thread?
It worked, thank you very muchYou should be good to go now.
Are you ready to be dedicated? It worked, thank you very much
I think after that comes the laying on of hands.Actually after they come forward and before they vote, they get [you]immersed[/you] in the discussion
Ask Mr Religion added me (I think). It seems that a staff member has to add you individually I think, though I am not certain.David,
What did you end up having to do to get into the Baptist Forum? I wouldn't mind being added to that! Thanks!
You need to know the goal of the PB is for you to leave the Baptist forum and join the Presbyterian forum. Many people have made the journey, you will too. You can punish yourself by continuing in your current ways, or you can keep yourself from heartache and struggle by just becoming Presbyterian ASAP. It's inevitable just embrace it.
For many, I could see this being true.I too would like to join the Baptist sub forum. I don't think I have the privilege yet. Unless I do and haven't tried it.
I wouldn't be surprised that spending enough time on the PB, amongst the continual Presbyterian discussions, could push some people in that direction. Not necessarily because of Scriptural arguments, but because of the constant Presbyterian atmosphere dripping into their minds like a leaky faucet. Or perhaps a sprinkler?

My dad is a Presbyterian, my own congregation was originally a church plant from a Presbyterian church. I'm a big advocate for Ligonier Ministries, and absolutely adore R.C. Sproul. Still, it's the polity that prevents me. Baptismal mode aside for a moment (not opening that can of worms), coming from the RCC originally, independent congregationalism is very important to me.
In Christ
Renewing your mind is an amazing source for Reformed theology. I try to listen every day.Very interesting.
I just downloaded Ligonier's iPhone app yesterday, as I have been looking for some resources to use in the midst of the busyness that is a young family.
This made me laugh a little too hard haha.I too would like to join the Baptist sub forum. I don't think I have the privilege yet. Unless I do and haven't tried it.

You are all set now.I too would like to join the Baptist sub forum. I don't think I have the privilege yet. Unless I do and haven't tried it.
You will not be disappointed. They have a daily devotional, daily video, the renewing your mind series, featured questions, an ESV built into the app and more. Also check out their website; they're giving away a free book if you subscribe to their email, plus a three month subscription to their Table talk magazine, free of charge. They've been a tremendous blessing for me.Very interesting.

Yup you have to have 25 postings!Ah, I think I get it now. There may be a post minimum to access that section. I only have 17 so far. Guess I need to get busy posting!
Thanks!

I'm a credobaptist. Though I am a CCCC member. My congregation allows for diversity of understanding in regards to mode, as long as we understand it's not regenative in nature.Have you considered Congregationalism (see the Savoy Declaration of 1658)?
