I just received my first Allan Bible...it's second hand, and in great shape but it does have several pages of underline. The underline was done with erasable ink and it's a very particular kind from a Pilot pen called the Frixion--which erases by the heat generated from the friction--or any other heat. Trying to erase the markings the normal way would damage the pages as you have to rub pretty hard. I'm wondering what you guys thought the safest way to generate heat in very close proximity to nice Bible pages might be. I tried getting it really close to a light bulb, and it worked to a degree on some of the markings but also seemed to make that particular page warp a bit from the heat. Is there a better way? Any thoughts or experience with the Frixion? Also, anyone know if the warped page might return to normal? Thanks!
