Before you just dismiss this thread with "I haven't watched TV since 1958", I have a theological question.
Recently the Netflix series "13 Reasons why" came under fire for glorifying/promoting suicide. A new series (The Politician) on said streaming service also comes with a warning to sufferers of mental illness.

When it is written that Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy, is it part of his agenda to kill off people temporally (i.e. in this life)? It is probably better for him to kill people off sooner than later, rather than have them turn and be saved? Thoughts on this?

Ben Shapiro did a critique of 13 Reasons Why wherein he highlighted how evil it was that the basic thesis of the show was that the central character did not commit suicide as a result of being depressed or some other mental illness, but could be bullied into doing so. I seem to recall him being of the opinion that this storyline gave the impression that suicide was a tragic way out for anyone having a hard time.

Also, I seem to recall there being something in the news a while back about Netflix removing the scene where the main character commits suicide lest it served as an instruction manual for others.

So...
Kill them before birth with abortions.
Kill them in old age with euthanasia.
Kill the healthy with suicide.
And get the rest to encourage and advocate all of this.

Yes, that is what is meant. Kill the body; steal your joy, peace, zeal, opportunity for salvation, mind; destroy your life, families, testimony, etc. The agenda of this world is antichrist, and it is to manipulate and indoctrinate people from finding the narrow way and staying the course. Everything you watch, hear, participate in, or believe must be spiritually discerned through scripture.

Satan isn't stealing anyone's opportunity for salvation through suicide. If they are predestined to be saved nothing with thwart God's will. He's killing off his own (the unbeliever) but only according to God's will. It sounds like a terrible show to watch.

Perhaps I should have said opportunity to hear the gospel.

We are becoming a low-testosterone culture. No drive, no ambition, no purpose. Fat and full of chemicals. We are constantly told to be ashamed of being white/western/Christian/male/hetero.

We need a new crusade to instill some purpose. Maybe take back Constantinople? Or at least send missionaries all over the mslm world. Time to stop apologizing and take over the world.

The state of Western man is ENNUI, defined as, "the feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of occupation or excitement." An utter devotion to Christ and his Great Commission will shake off this ennui and revitalize Western Man.
