Read the Psalms of David, He begins with such a sadness in many of them all, that he would appear to be in Hell, and ere the Psalm be ended, ye will see, that, he bursts out with exceeding great thankfulness. This means, that, there was a joy, and an exceeding great heaviness in the hart, and there was a battle betwixt them, and in the end, joy got the victory and swallowed up sadness.
