The BBC was not on the list, so I voted for CNN.

I stand amazed in the presence
Of fake news the BBC
And wonder why we continue
To pay for our licence fee!

Before the 2016 election I found the washington post to have fairly good coverage, with a few crummy editorials. Much better than the Times. Today I find them abysmal.
Also, I can say about the Times that any newspaper that would quote me isn't worth reading.

Before 2019 or so, when the radio broke in my car, NPR was at least competent on the surface. Think of a literate version of CNN. They are like the prostitute with standards.

I concur with this. Once upon a time, living in a liberal college town, this was the standard for radio. At least, back then, there were bursts of literate commentary & the occasional piece of classical music. Then, on one fateful day, they played an hourslong lovesong to the latest Star Wars film. I couldn't believe my ears, as the commentators spoke as if it were as real and as vital as any other news of the day, even more so. In the aftermath, I realized I would not be able to trust the news of reality from such people, whose hearts and minds were off in some galaxy far, far away.

"But wait! There's more!"

I picked the NYT (online), and go through the headlines to get a briefing on various areas, and see what the latest "strong delusion" (2 Thess 2:11) they are deceived by and deceiving others with.

It is very hard to find reliable sources of news anywhere, as even good news sources are rarely Christian, and thus never have true perspective.

These days I get half my news from the Puritanboard, so I know it’s real. ;)

The other half comes from the local internet Facebook page. Sometimes I’ll look at the AP page and once a month I’ll read French and Spanish newspapers.

Greetings, fellow pilgrims,

This is my second stab at this post. Yesterday, I decided not to post and then quit the program.

Then when I logged back in, wonder of Wonders, everything I wrote was still there.

I get it, this is under the Entertainment and Humor forum, but I decided to go ahead and post what I wrote anyway.

Everything below was written previously.

I couldn't pick one fake news source from the list in the poll when I have so many more places in mind, like at least dozens. When you think about it, there are hundreds of prominent people out there, all telling you what the news really means.

But I would like to mention one source of fake news that I see everywhere now, like never before.

Almost everywhere I look in this whole world, I see more agreement than disagreement by every possible form of government, from the best to the worst, to the most extreme anarchist.

There is one unifying theme that rises to prominence in all of their opinions decisions and laws. And the growth and power of this Uniity is increasing exponentially before our eyes.

"Listen up," they say, "there is a new God in town, and it is we. You all better bow down and worship, or wrath will come upon you swiftly."

Never have we heard the words of Psalm 2 on so many millions of lips the world over. If you do not see and feel this rot -- that this cacophony of sounds has a unified, concerted melody, then you are like Neo in The Matrix before he took the red pill.
For me, this "red pill" thing happened around 2015. There were no new revelations, visions, or dreams. Just the same doctrines I knew for over 35 years, now brought to life by the Holy Spirit.

Here is the rest of the lyrics to their melody. I couldn't help but use the King James. Sorry about that. :) -

PSALM 2

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he is angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
