Any Vikings fans?

So I was like, "Yeah, I love learning about the culture and history of vikings.". Then I read Jean's comment and was like, "What does football have to do with vikings?". So then I thought, "Well, maybe he's talking about the series The Vikings and Jean was trying to tell him that series isn't appropriate to watch so watch football.". I finally got it! WOW, I bet you're jealous of my brain aren't ya? hahaha!

I don't watch the NFL but I do live in New Orleans and so I did witness some of the reaction. Down here people usually set off fireworks when the Saints win. We were driving home from evening service apparently at the time when the game was ending and we saw a few fireworks and heard some cheering and we thought "Ok, the Saints must've won." Normally that would be followed with a lot more fireworks but all of a sudden the city seemed to go quiet. We got home and weren't hearing a peep from our normally fanatical neighbors and wondered what happened. Now it all makes sense. Work will be interesting tomorrow.

I grew up a Saints fan. For the last 3 or 4 years I've only watched the NFL on Thursday nights or Monday nights if at all. After their actions this year, I haven't watched any. I do enjoy College ball still.

That was pretty amazing...wow!!!
My son is a Saints fan, and I am a Lion one, and just had to tell him that he now knows what it feels to get Lionized.
That ending was right there with the worst Lion moments of all time.

I don’t follow football. I’m a baseball guy that grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I now live about 80 miles SW of Chicago in a farm town.

I could be a Vikings fan. Their colors are the same as my high school so I like that. I like the Viking logo. I think all the long haired blonde players in the NFL should become Vikings.

Sorry Bayou, are you a Saints fan. They played really well.

Yeah, but no one in La. was actually surprised by that last play. My theory is that Louisiana's proximity to Voodoo has cursed them in football (though not necessarily baseball).

haha. I still don't get what that means, but if I was in that stadium I would have had to do that hand thing. I was really encouraged by the interview with Keinum afterwards; it seems he's a believer.

No more skol for me and not because they lost yesterday, although this is great time to break the habit.

As we continue to learn more about, our Lord, and church through Reformed teaching, we want Lord's Day to reflect that.

Many of you here have given much to think about this as well.
