Hi! Can anyone help me with some books or articles that deal with 1 Corinthians chapters 1-3? Especially the topics of foolishness of God and cross vs. wisdom of world and man. Not looking so much for commentaries but general books that touch on verses within content of book. Mainly looking for pastoral ministry type books. Seems that many pastors today do not understand the content of these chapters. That is why we have so many seeker sensitive churches and false conversions. Many are more interested in technique and use of intellect and think if not done right no one will get saved, when the truth of 1 Corinthians 1-3 is that the message of God is foolishness to all apart from the power of the Holy Spirit being applied through preaching of the Gospel for the conversion of the soul.
