Do you agree with it or disagree with it? I'm not trying to be contentious or to cause division, but sincerely ask if there are any statements that might prevent someone, even if they agree with it in substance, from signing it. It is my impression - perhaps wrongly - that many persons on the board agree with the declaration in general, some are undecided or have not studied the issues enough to make an opinion, and that a minority on this board would disagree with it on theological grounds. Some may even agree with it and not sign due to the personalities behind the declaration.
As for me, I could not help but sign as I whole-heartedly agree that the movements Evangelicals and Catholics Together, the New Perspective on Paul, and the Auburn Avenue Theology, perhaps even unwittingly in the case of the A4, undermine the Gospel.
