Some decent matchups this week, including the Red River Rivalry. I know the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry is also on this week, but a 29 point spread doesn't really tempt me, despite Georgia's struggles against Mizzou on Saturday. Hopefully a good week of exciting games.

I managed this week because I'm just so excited about Nebraska v. Rutgers under the Friday night lights as a Big Ten fan. I actually spent most of my childhood thinking, "You know what would be great? If both Nebraska and Rutgers joined the Big Ten so they could play each other in prime time!"

No, he means the Red River SHOOTout. Although, they haven't had a shooting at the pregame festivities in decades.

Edit - looked it up - 1992. Office used to close early and the building doors would be locked and barricaded by midafternoon on the Friday before the game. Hundreds of cops on Commerce. Then some great views from the windows a few years later of the Dallas Cowboys Superbowl Riot.
