I feel like the guy who bid 900 on a Price Is Right bid, and the next contestant bid 901 ;)

Just a heads up and friendly advice: you should check your score for the tiebreaker. That score has already been picked, which means you can't win if it comes down to a tiebreaker.

Well... TECHNICALLY... 38-34 and 38-33 were both picked... He's picked 38-35. Which basically means he'll claim it if loser score is higher than 35... The only one truly stuck is the one who picked 38-34. ;)

A truly clever contestant would swoop in with 39-36.

Yes, right. I was looking at my laptop without my glasses on and saw Willis's choice of 38-33 as 38-35. All is good

Actually, I’d bid $1. True story, one time when Bob Barker was host a guy bid $1 and the bell rang, meaning someone got the bid exactly right. The only time I’ve ever seen Bob Barker laugh and say, “Well, I know who didn’t win.”:rofl:o_O

What a Saturday! So many games hung in the balance for a long, long time. The day started out with the one game we all picked for Rutgers nearly ended up with all of us being 0-1 to start. Kansas - Oklahoma State and Florida - South Carolina provided lots of excitement, and Georgia State made Marshall look pretty silly. (as did Notre Dame did the Trojans) Of all the day's action, I would hope that I would regard the Washington-Oregon battle royal as the best of them all, even if the Ducks had beaten my Huskies. Two QBs duking it out for supremacy, two defenses at times brilliant, at times being bowled over by impressive offensive lines, gutsy calls and blown chances. And... thanks to the final result, I get my second :flamingscot:since Ben picked the Mallards, so that now there are three double winners in the contest thus far.

This week's totals:

toddpedlar: 9 :flamingscot:
Sola Scriptura: 9
Sovereign Grace: 8
DanSSwing: 8
Spurge: 7
GulfCoast Presbyterian: 7
Edm 6

And our 2023 weekly winners thus far:

SolaScriptura :flamingscot: :flamingscot:

toddpedlar :flamingscot: :flamingscot:
Edm :flamingscot:

I'm a mere casual observer in this, but why isn't greenbaggins' record shown in this week's results? Are there some ill feelings against hobbit-related names or something?!

Did greenbaggins make any picks this weeks?
