I watched the movie, 7500, the other night and thought I’d throw in a plug for it. It was filmed last year, starring Joseph Gordon Levitt, about a fictional account of a commercial flight hijacking attempt by Muslim terrorists. You can view this on Amazon Prime.
It’s schtick was to provide a more realist depiction of how an event of this nature might play out, shedding the typical American blockbuster heroics and dramatics. I thought it was rather entertaining (while also sad).
The surprising element to the movie was it’s very anti-Islamic theme. Interestingly the movie was set in Germany with the main character being an American pilot (played by Joseph Gordon Levitt) and it was produced by three different countries to include the US, Germany, and Austria.
I was curious if anyone had any interesting takes on it (without spoilers for those who haven’t watched it).
