One of the earliest Puritan devotional manuals was A Garden of Spirituall Flowers Planted by Ri. Ro., Will. Per., Ri. Green., M.M., and Geo. Web. (1610, 1613). The authors, for those who may be interested, are Richard Rogers, William Perkins, Richard Greenham, Miles Mosse (author of a famous tract against usury; not Matthew Mead, as has been cited on occasion) and George Webbe.

I don't have the Garden but I know that it includes his Consolations for troubled consciences which is a subsection of his Treatise Tending Unto a Declaration Whether a Man Be in the Estate of of Damnation, or in the Estate of Grace, which is in volume 1 of his Works.

Thanks, Andrew. That makes it seem like whatever may appear in the Garden that doesn't appear elsewhere would be minimal. Of course, minimal Perkins could be worth more than maximal others.

It is an anthology of their writings to be sure, but the writings of some of the authors are harder to find than others. This was a Puritan best-seller (30 editions in 20 years).
