I couldn't decide in which forum this material fit best, but since it is regarding a controversy surrounding a book on the origin of the OPC, I placed it in 'Church History.' If moderators decide it needs to be elsewhere please move it to the appropriate forum. This is an interview with James W. Scott, appearing on the Reformed Forum, discussing Edwin H. Rian's book circa 1940, "The Presbyterian Conflict." Mr. Scott's contention is that the book was actually a compilation of a missing manuscript written by J. Gresham Machen. I found the interview fascinating, and thought others might feel likewise.

Very interesting. I wonder if Scott has had an opportunity to consult Macmillan's archives to see if Machen's suspiciously missing correspondence with his editor still exists there. That would fill the gap in Scott's evidence against Rian.
