In this movie Spike Lee tries, albeit and succeeded in merging homosexual rights with civil rights. He also successfully destroyed any concept of a marriage by having the movie end in a bi/hetero union of 2 females and 1 male. Both females are sexually involved with the male as well as each other, and they live happily ever after and have children.
The movie starts out with a young black VP of a Pharmaceutical company whose AIDS drug was about to get tanked by the FDA. But before the tanking guess what? You've guessed it, White Execs began dumping their stock. Our Hero, then tries to blow the whistle but was promptly fired and hung out to dry with the freezing of his assets.
His ex fiance now a lesbian solicited him to impregnate her, and other lesbians at $10,000 per impregnation. You get the idea. The thrust here was to knock the archaic morals of Christians who were giving these loving homely lesbians difficulty in adopting.
Imagine such big name hollywood stars as Woody Harrelson, Ellen Barkin and Monica Belucci actually acted in this nonesense. Even the great running back Jim Brown put his name on this garbage.
Now after the scandal at the Pharmaceutical company blew up, our hero was brought in front of congress who tried to use his impregnation racquet as a means to excuse the criminal acts of the Execs. Of course our hero put them to their place with a riveting speech calling everyone a hypocrite. He then produces a cd which chronicled the theft and accounting scams of the company Execs. This cd was made by a DR, who committed suicide. This cd vindicated our hero, and he fell back in love with his fiance, and since he impregnated both her and her lover, he fell in love with her lover too.
There were times when I would give Spike Lee the benefit of the doubt, but this movie left no doubt.
