Here's a poem I wrote today as I was studying:
The Man with the Mine Cart (A Poem for Pastors)
There are men in the midst of the mountain
Prying rubble with pick-ax in hand
Uncovering gold and diamonds
Removed from the sight of man
There are men who descend in the mountain
Pushing drams from the light to the lode
Conveying the gold and diamonds
Back up by the craggy road
Though the man with the mine cart be humble
Neither mining nor minting the gold
As he labors 'tween light and lode
He daily wonders beholds
