What does Paul mean when he speaks of forcing Christians to blaspheme? Does he mean that he was getting them to curse or renounce Jesus as Messiah or something else?
(and yes coersion is spelt wrong - just cant change the title of the post)
I would assume that he made them deny Christ. Throughout church history this was the goal of many persecutors. Paul was no different at the time that he was a persecutor of the church.
