Alan Strange's article on Charles Hodge and the spirituality of the church

It is odd that I managed to miss Professor Strange's article in the MATJ until now, but I intend to read it later today:

Ironically, I just submitted an article on Charles Hodge to an academic journal on Saturday, but, should it ever make it into print I will definitely have to cite this essay.

What you cite was given as part of an alumni conference at the seminary in 2014. In 2016, I gave another paper on a different aspect of the same subject (from a different part of the dissertation) at another alumni conference. That was published in the 2016 Journal, which is not yet available online.

However, the dissertation itself should be out within the next few weeks from P&R. It bears the same title as the article that you cited above.

I am quite interested to read your article on Hodge. If you'd like to email me a copy I should be happy to receive it.

Yes, Wayne, you are quite right: the earlier release date was late October. It is now late September.

I have some conferences in late September-November at which I am speaking on, among other topics, the spirituality of the church and I wanted this book available, if possible.

P&R was gracious to accommodate this and moved up the publication schedule.
