"All tyrants are cowards..."

I found this cool pithy quote from Calvin. It's from his Harmony of the Gospels commenting on Matt 2:4 and the behavior of king Herod. (Calvin's Commentaries Vol. 16, pg. 132, Baker 1998).

"All tyrants are cowards, and their cruelty produces stronger alarm in their own breasts than in the breasts of others."

So true, and so very relevant to many in power today....
