Hey guys, I'm writing an essay on the topic of whether I (or we are) am brothers/sisters keeper. I already know where I stand on the issue, the Bible is clear that we are to love our neighbors as our selves, and the example of the good Samaritan. However, I am trying to decide on what specific issue to write it on. The prompt states: "select a currect social issue (local or global) such as homelessness in Sacramento or the earthquake disaster in Haiti and write an essay in which you answer the question: Am I my brothers/sisters keeper?" I am trying to keep it at more of a local level, but what other issue(s) are there besides homelessness?
