I am looking for good free Puritan/older commentaries on Amos to download. Any links to recommend?

Not commentaries, but sermons, and admittedly many in the list by the much later Spurgeon. Copy and paste the name and title into a Google search to see if the text is online.:

Thomas Hall (on chapters 4-9), if you have access to EEBO somewhere, you can look up Benefield's commentary on the first three chapters, of which Hall is the continuation (Benefield's is three volumes on the first three chapters); and then there's Ryan's Lectures on Amos, but I can't find a downloadable copy (although I'm sure it's also available on EEBO). So find someone who can get you access to EEBO and send them to you.
