any art scholars here? Question about serious art, nudity, and modesty/legalism

But I do wish we didn't have to reduce ourselves to calling nude models strippers or assuming that artists are lasciviously staring at the models. I don't think anyone that's been to art school (or knows an artist) would think that the case.
I think that although the body is lovely and beautiful, the appropriate context for admiration of it is marriage. I think, as a person who was involved sexually before marriage (and before becoming a christian), that seeing other naked bodies can change expectations for marriage and can set up (even unconsciously) standards of beauty which are different from your spouse.

I also think that even though the artist may have no lustful thoughts toward the model, the artist doesn't know what the art will be used for once displayed or purchased, and does bear some responsibility for it.
 
Thread purpose has been fulfilled and we are getting into the realms of more heat than light.
