Any Dobro Players Here?

I inherited a really old Dobro (1920's?) that has carvings over the enitre body. I've looked up the S/N before and it is worth some $$!

I don't play it though. If I play the guitar, I usually whip out my Taylor. It sings. :sing:
 
I've had some pre-war Dobros and worked on a fair share of them too. Unless its a very rare model like the 85, 156, 206,or a squareneck model 27, they're not worth quite as much as you may think.

Sounds like you have a model 65

The carvings were actually sandblasted into the wood.

What's a dobro? I like Lester Flatt's description.

'Papa played the dobro. . .'

That 'gallon bucket lid' line kills me.
