Any thoughts on the upcoming Evangelical Exegetical Commentary set from Logos?

I'm curious what the Puritan Board thinks about the upcoming Evangelical Exegetical Commentary set from Logos. I'm specifically interested in comments about the authors. All comments would be appreciated.

Yeah, here's my thought: No thanks.

I looked over the list of authors and most of them are presently relatively obscure and too many of them are (for my sensibilities) dispensational (well, they at least teach at schools which require subscription to a dispensational statement of faith).

Certainly, there will be some gems in this set, but the fact that the volumes will not be sold individually makes this something I'll pass up. I'm not going to spend $700+ on an entire set just for a few exceptional contributions.

Now, if I'm wrong and if these relatively obscure professors from relatively obscure institutions produce work that really knocks everyone's socks off and this set becomes, as Logos is touting, the new "evangelical standard"... well, at that point I'll reconsider.
