Just curious if anyone has read the recent book "William Symington: Penman of the Scottish Covenanters" by Roy Blackwood and Michael LeFebvre. Is it a good book? Is it readable for the average lay-person? Is it a good summary of some of his teachings?
The authors are my friends. Roy was a mentor of mine. Mike is a Pastor in a neighboring town. The book is excellent as a summary of things I have read. A very important read in my opinion. Yes, it was written for everyone.
The book also contains a biography. I read the doctoral dissertation that lead to the book that is now available. Mike did a great job summarizing a lot of information and doctrine into the current volume.
