I just read this from Kim Riddlebarger yesterday:

While there is no hint of apostolic succession taught in the New Testament (as the apostles die off, they do not replace themselves with new apostles, but with ministers, elders and deacons) the New Testament does clearly teach the principal of historical succession. That is, the doctrine taught by those apostles commissioned directly by Jesus Christ to preach and teach his people, will indeed endure in Christ’s church to the end of the age.

What is most awful about that site is that the guy condemns Todd bentley et al and then goes on to tell you how his 'personal angel' will reveal your destiny and future. It is witchcraft packaged for the foolish western church.
