It is sort of a half-hobby: I spend a couple minutes a day reading the latest click-bait articles to see the state of language and coherence of expression. Mostly it is an amusing pastime to gauge the decline of the internet.
So I ran across an article that seemed pretty much AI generated. The title suggested that Barron Trump had revealed various scandals. Of course, nothing in the article supported the title.
But that didn't surprise me. What caught my eye was the second paragraph's opening line:
"Barron was born on March 20, 2006, and his life was never the same again."
At first, I laughed. Then I spiraled into an existential self-examination about my own life after my birth.
And then I wondered if AI was getting good at opening lines for absurd creative writing.
I think I'll set it on the back burner and go back to Owen.
