In the old days,one was able to change the picture without having to ask anybody else to do it for him.Is it possible to introduce something that says "i have my own picture",click on that, and type in the URL?This way, we can avoid disturbing the admins,as their time is precious,

If you have an url for an image, you just put that url in the Avatar field in your profile. It is very easy, so long as it is actually online. The problem has come when people have images on their computer but not on the web.

Where do you actually type the URL?When i get into my profile there is no box to type it in.
