Benjamin Colman on bewailing our fallen nature

I have often heard SSA apologists argue that it makes no sense to tell people to repent of being fallen. Actually, the opposite is true, as it is the height of irrationality to tell people to repent of actual sins, but not to repent of original sin, as the former is the result of the latter. As Benjamin Colman points out:

We must mourn for every single Act of Sin committed by us, how then ought we to bewail the Sin of our Nature, which is the Spring of all the Impurities of our Life!
