I just came across the Benjamin Colman Papers at the Massachusetts Historical Society. They contain many digitised letters to and from many prominent figures in the transatlantic evangelical world (Benjamin Colman lived from 1674-1747).

I do not know much about Colman other than he had some acquaintance with Cotton Mather and George Whitefield. According to PRDL, he was Reformed in his theology.

Mark Noll mentions Benjamin Colman several times in The Rise of Evangelicalism and discusses his interaction with Jonathan Edwards.
