Someone approached me at church and asked if there was a place to take theological courses without the "basic college courses". He just wants to learn more about the Bible and God but isn't interested in going to college and taking the other stuff.

Any recommendations?

Accreditation isn't necessary. It could be a diploma or anything really.

Thanks

Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary offers certificates. Maybe that would help? Whoever it is can audit a class here and there, too.

Many online Colleges & Seminaries will let you "officially" audit. This means you can take the course, pay a reduced credit fee, and get a certificate of completion for each course. Every college or university will have different criteria, some require a bachelors, many do not.

If he wants live online classes, time of day might be a big factor. One of the reasons I came to GPTS (which is great BTW) is that they offer most classes during the day time. Most other good seminaries I checked out have mostly evening classes.
