"Blue and Lonesome" (2016), by the Rolling Stones, is a pretty good blues album. I think its secret is that the Stones kept it simple. Recorded in just three days at one studio in London, one almost gets the impression that most of the songs were recorded in a single take. I hope they do another one some day.

And, of course, the album has that famous Rolling Stones mix, which I like to call "almost stereo."

If you like the blues, check it out.

I'm listening to it on Spotify now. That doesn't sound like Mick Jagger singing. Who is it?

Amazing to think that the Stones have been together longer than many married couples make it! Thanks for the recommendation!
