Hi! I am looking for recommendations on books that deal with the importance of the resurrection. Not so much historically (thought that is vital) but more theologically.
I have read Richard Gaffin's Resurrection and Redemption which was good but it is a little wordy and scholarly for my taste.

It might be a "little less" than you were looking for, but some of Machen's books deal with resurrection arguments. Not books dedicated to it, but he does bring it up in his discussions. Check out these if you want:

https://www.heritagebooks.org/produ...resses-on-the-deity-of-the-savior-machen.html

The last one there might have something too on the resurrection. But try the first two!
