I am about to launch into an in-depth study of the feasts of Leviticus 23. Aside from commentaries on the book of Leviticus, I am looking at books that are devoted to this subject. The main books that I am aware of are the following: Howard and Rosenthal - The Feasts of the Lord Norten - Unlocking the Secrets of the Feasts Booker - Celebrating Jesus in the Biblical Feasts Nadler - Messiah in the Feasts of Israel Can anyone speak to any of these books? Can you recommend one of them? Or is there another book that you would recommend?
Critical Jewish commentaries, if used with caution, would probably shed light. I am thinking of Jacob Milgrom's Leviticus https://www.amazon.com/Leviticus-Continental-Commentary-Commentaries/dp/0800695143 https://www.amazon.com/Leviticus-23...Q0VV07QW24X&psc=1&refRID=8GKVDAMAKQ0VV07QW24X
I have this, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. It may be helpful. https://www.amazon.com/Meeting-Jesus-Feast-Israels-Festivals/dp/1935369008
This would be a great resource for your study. I have found it to be of immense value. It is pricey but well worth it.
