Books the Lord has greatly used in your life...

I re-read the op and I gave my early formidable books, if I was compiling a list for new believers I think it would include A Body of Divinity including The Ten Commandments by Thomas Watson, Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices by Thomas Brooks, and The Bruised Reed by Richard Sibbes.

These three give much instruction and exhortation in what Biblical Christianity is and how to walk in it.

It is Wittenberg Castle Church, the one known for the 95 theses of Luther.
We went there this weekend.

Francis Schaeffer- The God Who Is There, He is There and He is not Silent, Escape From Reason, Art and the Bible.

C.S. Lewis- The Screwtape Letters, God in the Dock.

Thomas Merton- No Man is an Island. Believe it or not, this book helped me to begin shedding the Arminian easy believism I was brought up in.

Christopher Ness- An Antidote to Arminiansim.
