Bringing Communion to the Sick

The Westminster Confessions says that the bread and wine should be given to the communicants "but to none who are not then present in the congregation."

In our church, our Pastor will bring communion to those who are sick and unable to attend service due to health issues.

Is this a no-no, or a yes-yes, and why?
