For those who bought this set, has anyone read much into it, or have any thoughts to share from their readings?

I got mine for Christmas, and have only read a few letters of correspondence to Melanchthon. It seems Calvin was dissapointed with what he saw as compromises being made by Melanchthon in matters pertaining to the reformation of the church, since Luther had passed away.

Blessings!

I've read the first and about half of the second volume. It's amazing how Lutheran he is.

I found it particularly funny when he said (to paraphrase) "the guys in Zurich want us all to think Zwingli is such a great theologian, but everybody knows that Luther's far better."
