Cambridge History of Christianity

The Cambridge history of … books have come to my attention recently after hearing them being recommended by a pastor, especially with relation to the history of philosophy volumes.

I have seen that there is a Cambridge History of Christianity which comprises 9 huge volumes. I was wondering if anyone on the board had any interactions with or insights on these?

They are definitely worth consulting; the contributors are usually among the leading experts in their respective fields.

If you can find it for a reasonable price and have room for it, get it. The contributors are leaders in their fields.

Thank you. I may pick up a couple volumes of special interest which I’ve found second hand for a good price.
