I often ask a similar question from the other perspective... If Israel is destroyed or if Christ doesn't return within a generation, will dispensationalists disappear? Or will they spiritualize their prophecies and keep holding on to them like the SDA/Millerites did? Of course if they spiritualized they're beliefs they would no longer be Dispensational.
I asked my dispensationalist father in-law this question and he said that if either of those things happened it wouldn't actually prove dispensationalism wrong.
