Here are 16 verses that teach that Jesus is the Savior of the whole world. I was very encouraged as I picked these verses. Maybe you will be too.

Christ - The Savior of the Whole World

John 1:9 (KJV 1900)
9 That [Jesus] was the true Light, which lighteth
every man that cometh into the world.

John 1:29 (KJV 1900)
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which
taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16,17 (KJV & ESV)
16 For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.


1 John 4:14 (ESV)
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

John 4:42 (ESV)
