Church musicians and church music

I'd like to suggest a forum for church musicians and church music. I would like to know if there are other organists and pianists in here. Perhaps a thread to discuss music and another to discuss playing and one for instruments. Disucsions about choirs and singing should also be included.

Actually I"ve never heard the tune you speak of played in church. Not even in the emergent church that our oldest son goes to. If it was, did they do it on a pipe organ or a Hammond B3?

I certainly would ask the band who played it to choose something more reverent and with a copyright date sometine in the 1700s. Yes, neatly and in order.

Should it be restricted to musicians? I would have thought we all had an interest in church music.
