Puritan Board Doctor
I have NO idea if I'm related to this guy.
I know that he was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1904 and died in 1973. I also know that he was an artist who was employed by the WPA during the Depression in the 1930s. Case Western Reserve University seems to have some of his stuff.
Judging by his dates, he was a member of my grandparents' generation, and is almost an exact contemporary of my paternal grandmother. None of my Zuelches are from Ohio, as far as I know. Mine are from Minnesota.
I went to Google Images and entered his name. A fair amount of his art shows up. I doubt it would be considered great art - but it's better than anything I could do!
It'd be cool if it turned out I was distantly related to him...
