Not sure if anyone will see this up here (rather than as a new post), but for some reason I am not able to reply to this thread (or start another). Hopefully that will get straightened out soon.

Meanwhile, here are the results from this past week:

Douglas Padgett - 6
John Lanier - 6
Edward - 5
Marrow Man - 4
Ajf777 - 4

I will post this week's games soon (assuming my posting privileges are restored!) :bueller:

So you're the lone Marshall fan. *The Thundering Herd have never beaten the Mountaineers in football*. Sorry Pastor, but don't look for that to change this weekend either.

While that may be the case, Pastor Ben is also a Pitt Panthers alum/fan. Correct? Congrats on your recent (better part of two decades) success against them, but the overall series is still nowhere close at 61-40-3 (Pitt's record)!

WVU and Pitt may not play each other anymore since they moved to different conferences. Fortunately the in-state rivalry of WVU and Marshall continues on. Let's Go Eers! :applause:

That is correct. :)

I am from West Virginia and my family all went to Marshall, but I went to Pitt.

My family all went to WVU, except me. I was born and raised in California and went to San Jose State. But I grew up rooting for the Mountaineers, and always will. I was in West Virginia just last week and had a great time. It's a beautiful state with lots of friendly people. I enjoy all 50 states, but California and West Virginia have a special meaning to me.
