College Pick'em Week 11

Puritanboard Commissioner
I did get the results posted this morning for week 10.

The Playoff will be a little different this year. I thought about making changes last time I ran this, but stayed with the old format. But college football has changed, and I will, as well. If you don’t like the new system, all you have to do is win, and you can restore the old ways next year.

As usual, any PB member in good standing can play. The winner each week is eligible for the bowl final, with the winner of that running next year’s contest.

NOTE: Depending on circumstances next Monday, results and new postings may be delayed. If so, don’t expect responses as to inquiries; the postings will go up as soon as possible.

You have done an excellent job this year of choosing games that are very tough to pick, and thus making the whole thing more competitive and fun. I trust that your judgment will be just as sound when it comes to the playoff format.

Well, Earl was the only one to pick the Dawgs.

It worked pretty well this past Monday updating the Saturday night post on Monday morning with the results. (I have to go to work these days before the thread unlocks). So watch this space for the winner of this week's matchup.

Again, it will probably be Monday night before next week's thread goes up.

==========

Well, it doesn’t get much better than a triple overtime (UNLV).

With 3 people coming in at 9 wins, Bill the Baptist edged me out in the second tiebreaker to win the week. (That’s twice I’ve lost at that level).

Bill – 9 :flamingscot::flamingscot:

Ed – 9 :flamingscot:
Earl – 9
Todd – 7 :flamingscot::flamingscot:
Ben G – 6 :flamingscot:

Special hat tip to Earl for going against the grain with the Dawgs and SMU.

Not playing this week:

Ben D :flamingscot:
Zach :flamingscot:
Randy :flamingscot:
Douglas :flamingscot:
