Another great day of college football, although there is much weeping and gnashing of teeth here in the promised land. It seems the elect (BYU) have been vanquished once again by the Gentiles, this time in the form of Boise State. Good game regardless

I'm holding my breath until after the Tennessee game, but this might be one of the best teams Georgia has put together in a long time. It looks like the junk yard dawgs have finally come back on defense and the offense has potent running and passing weapons along with an offensive line to make it all happen.

They finally figured out that there is no point in scheduling tough non-conference games (i.e. Oklahoma State, Boise State) when you play in the SEC. Just play your conference schedule, plus a bunch of cream puff teams, and if you win the SEC Championship game, you are guaranteed a spot in the National championship game regardless of how "easy" your schedule may have been.

I'll agree Georgia's schedule is not as tough as it has been, but playing SEC they still face two other top 11 teams, several other schools with power-house histories and Tennessee can be a real spoiler. If they look good (not just win) against Tennessee this week, I'd put money on the Dawgs having a top 5 finish for the year.
