The part quoted below has been fascinating reading here on the PB in how I believe the two subjects (creation and demons) may not be related on how we read scripture under the hypothesis. Of course I do not know what Bekker espoused concerning demons.

Thankyou again. As it was helpful in an earlier section to see the documentary hypothesis traced back to its rationalist precursors, it is also helpful to see the false doctrine of accommodation traced back to the same sources. It shows the modernists were not so modern afterall.
