I've got Bahnsen's Van Til's Apologetic and Always Ready - but wanted to grab something from Van Til himself. How would you assess Defense of the Faith? Do I gain much from getting the new Defense of the Faith edition? If so, what?

I haven't seen the new edition yet. But when I first read DoF as a university student, it changed everything for me. Besides the Bible, it has been the most influential book in my theological development. If you want to understand VanTil, at the least you have to read DoF as a primary source.

According to Oliphint (who edited the new/old edition of Van Til's defense of the faith), Van Til's intro to systematic theology is more important
