Edith Schaeffer

Mrs. Schaeffer went home today. What a wonderful women. The first person to call Sandra when Jenna was born (more than 35 years ago) was Edith Schaeffer. Sandra answered the phone that was handed to her and Mrs. S. said, "Hello, this is Nonnie."



Here's that same daughter with Mrs. S. several years later.

She was 98, and survived her husband by nearly 30 years. They made 'em tough in those days.
