Be Cool was great, anyone else see it yet? If you liked get Shorty you'll love Be Cool, the Rock was hilarious.

Favourite movie?

Probably any B-list horror movie. Even better when you mute the volume and make up your own lines with friends.

Braveheart, of course. If you don't like this movie, you don't belong on this board!

George C. Scott's portrayal of Patton was excellent as well.

The Sixth Sense, Exorcist, and The Omen are three of the best horror movies for all time.

...and just about any old "noir" movie is good as well.

I love all Charlton Heston epic movies:

El Cid
Ten Commandments
Ben Hur
Agony & Ecstasy

I thought the Ten Commandments movie was sort of a drag.

The book was better...

Since you like that movie, I'd highly recommend "Quo Vadis" as well, an excellent film revolving around Rome during the time of Nero.

Some of my other all-time top favorites are:

-Adaptation (mind-bending and intelligently creative)
-Being John Malkovich (ditto)
-Cromwell (well-acted, fairly historical account of his life during the reign of Charles I)
-Luther (ditto, except for the Charles I part of course)
-The Man in the Iron Mask (wonderful drama & classic epic)
-The Mask of Zorro (ditto)

...as well as almost any Nicolas Cage films.

I tend to turn movies on and just watch my favorite scene (or movie climax) and then turn them off...I do this for every movie with sword battles.

-"Braveheart" (I scream freedom at the end and repeat Gibson's famous speech over and over again)
-"Rob Roy" (last fight scene...thats what I would do if I lost my sword),
-"Gladiator" (scene: "my name is...husband of a murdered wife..." and last fight scene)
-"Last of the Mohicans" (awesome last fight scene when the father avenges his son...music also rocks)
-"Count of Monte Cristo" (last fight scene...final blow was creative)

there are many more...

Donnie Darko
Get Shorty (Be Cool was horrible, btw...sorry!)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Big Fish (you need to see this if you haven't)
To Kill a Mockingbird
Young Guns
Ferris Bueller's Day off
Breakfast Club

Kind of brain farting now...but, if you need a good flick to sit around and laugh at...I've got the best B movie out there: Flesh Eating Mothers (I am not joking, that is a real movie). It's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen.

-"Braveheart" (I scream freedom at the end and repeat Gibson's famous speech over and over again)
-"Rob Roy" (last fight scene...thats what I would do if I lost my sword),

Those two are definately at the top of my list. That last fight scene in Rob Roy is awesome. I can't stand that little sissy looking englishman (he sure could use a sword though). Rob darn near cut him in half. :D

Braveheart
Rob Roy
All Star Wars
Lord of the Rings trilogy
All Bruce Lee movies
Gods & Generals
lots more

Evil Dead 1 &2 are my favorite horror movies.
